The Harris fairing lowers that are readily available on ebay & the like were for the early road bike. I have a pair/set but they are NOTHING LIKE the fairing you are after Timpalompa. Yours is a one off item I would guess. You will be very lucky (in my opinion) to find another fairing the same or even similar which is a shame but no harm in searching.

those ebay ones are not the same. I think Yamaha originally commissioned Harris to make them for the early half faired bikes in order for them to become fully faired ones before making their own full fairing a year later. That Harris race bike seems to have a one off fairing which I should imagine will be about as hard to source as the holy grail! good luck with it, looks stunning from those pictures. thank you crusty i think it's the one im looking for this is unfortunately the best pic i got on the bike. To bad that they box-in the beatuful frame i guse the 1FN i for the original FZ750? is´t the same as original or did Harris change them? this looks like the fairing for the bike you have with the box aluminum frame. Maybe if you locate some of the people round the bike on facebook it may help to locate. Failing that have you tried contacting Harris?

The bloke on the far left of the first picture looks like Ryan Giggs if you try and contact him, alternatively I think a fairing from the endurance ZXR750 would look good if you couldn't find an original FZ one.

One of those Harris FZRs in the photo was in the paddock at one of Bemsee's Brands meetings in 2009. It had just been brought back from Denmark by the guy who was Howard Lees' mechanic back in the day and he rode it round in one of the Thunderbike races. I spoke to him briefly in the paddock and he claimed it still had the oil in it from when it was laid up in the late eighties! It didn't have much in common with an FZ though - I think they got the engines direct from Yamaha and completely rebuilt them from the ground up - the engines had the builder's engine numbers rather than Yamaha ones .
