Nice one Keith. Mallory is fairly close to me so hope to make it over for one or two of those dates on the Fazer. Good luck.

Hi Tootall, I guess you're Dave Court's mate? He was asking about FZ plastics for someone who was interested in TB. It's a great class - very friendly and very competetive

Hello mate, yeah that's me. Managed to get in touch with the bloke who's got Simon and phil's old fz racers (is one of them your old bike?) so got as much race spares as I can afford coming. Doubt I'll be able to afford to do the full season but we'll see what I can beg and borrow

The shortened 2mg swingarm off Phil's bike would be good to have and afaik Simon's 1FN engine has only done one season since Phil Spencer refreshed it so that should be good for another without blowing up. Phil killed about half the UK stock of FZ engines in his last season - I don't know what was in it when he retired it ;D. I've still got mine - I've just stripped it this week to repair all the damage I did to it last year. I usually get to at least one TB round - I'll come and say hello.

Cheers for that. Yeah been offered the swingarm, and the Spencer engine. Not sure I can afford that yet though. See you at a tb round.

I did exactly the same thing last year, I was still getting the bike ready after arriving in the paddock on race morning. (By 'I', I mean Simon and Dan rescued me.) I hope the weather is kind to you I'll see you out there in April (on ze filthy Honda)!

Unfortunately today I have had to cancel my entry for Mallory this coming Sunday This was due to the fact that I had taken my front forks to a local engineering firm to have them reamed out to take a 17mm front spindle, not only did they manage to drill the hole off centre (how the f**k can you drill a hole off centre when there is one there to start with perfectly central? ?) but they also managed to drill it on the piss! So when I fitted the wheel it was actually runnig at an angle! This you may think is no big deal... well its not, well not untill you try to bleed the brakes up!! We tried everything to get around this from shortening one leg in the yokes to opening up the holes to try and level the spindle. We got pretty close, the brake was just binding but I thought we may get away with it, but on the final bleed of the brakes its starting to drag. I cant afford to run the risk of it locking up on the way into gerrards! Apart from the potential damage it sounds like a great deal of pain!! I have put a wanted add on here for some FZR 1000 yokes but now I need a complete FZR front end. I am absolutely gutted that Im going to miss the first meeting of the year, but hope I can beg, steal or borrow a front end to be able to get out for the next round in April. If anyone can help me out with a front end, I would very much appreciate it. Regards Keith
