Hi all
Can you advise what's involved in swapping the early wheel to late wheel. I have come into possession of a 17" front of, I think, the correct vintage - mudguard clearance and disc fitments are concerns.. Also any issues with a matching rear?
Cheers

The later rear wheel from FZ750 -89 is a straight bolt on to all FZ750. I have done it and had no issues. Frontwheel is a another thing, never tried that but what about finding newer forks - then there will be no problem with mudguard or calippers. You will get better calippers with the new fork and you can switch them to R1 calippers with no mods (done that one myself).

Thanks - background is that I bought a pile of parts that included the later front wheel. I thought about undertaking a total wheel swap and was going to buy a matching rear. Now I see it will also require updated forks/calipers etc.. so maybe too much hassle ATM (too much other stuff on the go..) Cheers
