Glad you liked the story Tomster. I actually wrote it in a serious nature but it just seems like everyone is rolling around having a laugh at my expense at the thought of me being on my arse at the side of the motorway when I was knackered. Can't blame you though 'coz I'd probably be the same. I can't say that I've ever lost any motorway before though, did you find it in the end?

Not that day I didn't, but it's still there because I saw some of it today. ;D

I went on a diet once & lost 5 pound but then found 4 down the back of the sofa so the whole thing seemed a bit pointless in the end? I thought your story was funny for several reasons Alan. The image of a tired man with his ruck sack bouncing up & down as he runs along the hard shoulder all alone in the early hours in an attempt to wake himself was good enough. For him to take a dozen or so steps only to trip on nothing & go a pisser is just priceless. ;D

I drink alchohol accasionally and lose money AND time. The worst thing for me on that ride Graham was finding myself way too close to the back of a lorry when I don't remember approaching it very much, and lying on the floor and looking around to see that there was nothing on the floor that I could have tripped over. Glad it gave you a laugh anyway.

Oh Oh, I just remembered about this one. It's been on my mantle piece for that long that I'd forgotten about it and its faded so much because of how long its been there. The picture was taken at the Bulldog Bash some years ago just as I was getting ready to give it a blast down the dragstrip. I don't know why but I always laugh at the blokes face sitting in the car in the background.
