Hi I have built my fz750 2mg for track use I am looking for suggestions of which tyre would best suit the fz for track riding The front would be 120/70/17 and rear 150/70 /18 They are to fit standard wheels and suspension as the 2mg model
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Hi Gez, probably too late to help at all now - the 2mg (1987) came with the same size wheels as the earlier bikes (1FN) - 2.75 x 16 front and 3.0 x 18 rear, these are really narrow, too narrow for modern radials, there's a number of biased ply tyres though. A few manufacturers make suitable tyres, but as fast trackday tyres ?? I'm just coming back to FZ ownership again myself, but I've been looking at wheel and tyre options. It'll be interesting to hear what tyres you went for. I know 140/70/18 is fine for the rear, I used one of those in 1988.

Metzeler Racetecs are the stickiest tyres available for the late FZ750s, good luck finding anything for a 16" front wheeled FZ
