Tank in primer, unfortunately the fairing doesnt fit, the race exhaust I have has a large collector. So will need to sell this one (its the one shown earlier in the thread, slightly heavy but ready to use). Wiring loom coming on a treat, starter works, fuel pump kicks in and power to the coils.... Will keep the engine standard until the 'bike' is finished then will raise the compression, flow the head and search for cams. I have been told about another project (on oldschoolsuzuki but they are obviously using a suzuki) be good to see who comes out on top.

Doesnt sound much, but fuel pump mounted, oil pressure light and neutral light functioning and gearchange rear set linkage made, connected and working fine.

A spare engine has made its way into the fold...........will now strip original as this one has a guarantee. Anyone know of any cams (or other model upgrades that do the job) I have used the two exhaust cams route in the past to gain higher lift in the inlets but obviously cannot do this in a 5 valve head, bugger ...(spare race/performace cams anyone? ??) .... ) also what is the optimum valve to piston clearance, I was going to skim the head down to 40th in and 60th out..............

Front end now complete, YZF750 front wheel used with captive spacers (fairly easy as YZF uses 20mm spindle and FZR uses 15mm spindle) Next step is to remove swing arm and complete the work on that

Original engine cases etc back from the chemical dippers and soaked in WD40, once crank back from engineers (lightening) the bottom end can be built up.
