I've got a starter sitting on the bench at the mo so I'll have a measure up when I go back out later this evening.

Sorry for delay.
While it's a little difficult to measure I reckon the outside diameter is 29.5mm and the girth is 3mm. This was measured against a used item.
Hope it helps.

Sounds like it's running on 3 Ken. Any of the downpipes cold?

It does run rich below 4000rpm with the stock needles but if it's breathing ok I'd expect you will need bigger mains ;D picasaweb.google.com/FZ750Horse/BuildingTheBeast#5329476290980722562
