When will you know if it's all OK?
Just that I've been speaking with them and they were getting a bit strange regarding FZR1000 41mm forks.

Thats odd who did you speak to. 41mm forks were used in the day and the FZR1000 forks are of a type used in the day.....no problem on forks at all. Did you make it clear they were very early FZR1000 forks (1987) because any later than that and they are no acceptable. Jeff Kirby is the guy....

Can't remember his name at the minute, the mails are on my work e-mail. Do you have the e-mail for Jeff Kirby?

contact details on mgp site just email them your questions. I can tell you that many of the works machines in 1985 were using 41mm forks, just remember to use a type the same as the day, if you try to use say YZF600 41mm forks they are completely different.
This is not the best place to find your answers. The regs issued tell you how to clarify points/issues as does the MGP website.
I am not an authority. All I can tell you is that I have researched all the parts used on my bike and it meets the regulations.
