Hi All
I'm down to my last key which was cut from an original I've lost so no number.. Is it marked on any barrels anywhere?

I can take any of my Yamaha keys to my local locksmith and they have blanks that they cut from the originals. Fairly cheap too as I recall.

Yes that's what I did last time but I think I used the local guy's last blank! If you used a locksmith form a chain can you say which one? I used theses guys in that past ( for a classic VW) and their service is outstanding but I need a number. Is it available on the petrol cap or seat I wonder??? BIke is store soem miles away ATM

I think the place I use has two depots in the whole wide world! Called "Morris Mica". I would expect the bigger outlets such as Timpsons to have them. You can buy the blanks on ebay for a few quid.

Sorry to keep bothering about this. I found a faint four digit number on the seat lock 7**9 and I know teh key blank is type A. Making it A7**9 but Does a four digit key code sound right? These guys supply cheap - used before..https://www.replacementkeys.co.uk/yamaha.html
