Anyone know what the standard sprockets for the FZ should be? I think mine has too big a sprocket on the back as it seems to rev too high for the relative speed. I could be wrong and it's probably more to do with getting off a low revving Ducati onto a buzzy Yam.

I've had a bit of a poke about on ebay and the front seems to be 16 and the rear 44, although you can get 43 rear too. Haven't counted my own sprocket yet as it's still in too good a condition. My front wheel was 30g out of balance so I've got that sorted now and replaced the throttle cable that I broke last week. Maybe the bike is too old to be abused like this, poor old thing

You can get more in rear gearing, just bought a 45T rear for $10 (aust) brand new, so when my cogs wear out gives me a bit of choice I'll try a few different comb till I get it where I want it. trinity.
