Updated - lasvegas.craigslist.org/mcy/2638390607.htmlSold the YZF1000r Thunderace, boring compared to the FZ750. But now into MKIII Supra Turbos due to family growing and no time for a bike at new job and location with no extra space.

I Know what you mean when you say it is boring compared to thunderace - the old FZ really tries hard to please and whet it deals out can be used on the streets. I'd have a go at your bike but I am in the UK so logistics forbid. If I were you I would keep hole of the FZ - if you can't store it in your new house put it in your dads shed! John

How much did those replacement fairings cost? Look like originals from Yamaha to me.

Bike just sold for cash and a new mossberg 500 with a shit ton of ammo. Sold it to an older gentleman that was wide-eyed after his test ride - Crusty - the Front fairing was new OEM with brace from a former Yamaha service rep for $120. It was a find and was like new, even the black frame brace was glossy. Times are ruff, and I do regret having to sell her but the experience was well worth it and who knows what the future brings. I can tell you this, it will be hard to come by an 85-86 that was in such good running order. Peace out FZ brotherhood.....
