Just picked up a non running (for now ) 87 FZ750 last week with 26000km. This is how she looked when I brought her home. Attachments:

Not sure quite what it is you've got there. Says FZR, but has single pot callipers on the front, combined with the later top fairing (you can tell cause of the hole for the indicator.)
Looks like an FZ though.

It is a Canadian model 87 FZ750 with a combination of older and newer bodywork installed by previous owner as well as his paint job and FZR decals.. dont worry, previous owners paint job and his decals are already gone and it is sitting in yellow.. just gave it a quick spray to see if I would like the colour and yes, it will be yellow when I am done Attachments:

Well this thread was last year and you may have sold it or kept but if you go to FZ750.net under model prefix tab (a japanese site) in english has a reference chart regarding the prefix and so forth. FZ 750 U , Canada Model, 1987 , = 2MF. I thought it looked quite serious in Italian stable colours , shows how much blood it has spilled as a competitor. Luck bro. Revolver .
