I thought it was interesting to see webmaster Graham's other bikes so thought it was about time I put mine on here.
I've started off with my FZ because I've owned it the longest & won't ever sell it. I'm presently trying to keep if off the road until I can get something like an R1 front end grafted onto it.
This is my X7 that I built from a box of bits, I've displayed it at shows before and managed to win a rosette last year for 'runner up Japanese custom'. It is a road bike and will never be a show bike only, I've got some KR1S carbs to go onto it yet and then it will basically be sorted, at the moment it is the only bike of mine that is sorted to ride on the road.
I've had this little Dax for a couple of years now but have only just managed to get it going, it is still in need of its electrics sorting (hence the headlight missing) but is fitted with a C90 engine. It's so easy to ride that I let my misses ride it, as she had never ridden a bike before she didn't realise that the throttle goes both ways and crashed it into a hedge the first time and grazed both of her knees. I told her to tell her mates at work that her knees were the result of carpet burns but being a woman she told them that she'd crashed a bike. Fair play to her though because she had another go and rode it as it should be, I'm going to put her on the back of it one day and go to the pub for a pint or two which should be a laugh.
This BSA is a 1936 model B22 Empire star, I bought it from a guy last year who had it in his garage and hadn't started it for years, it started out with me trying to fix it for him but he has alzhiemers desease and he decided that he was no longer capable of riding it so a deal was done & I decided to buy it off him. The last tax disc on it is for 1971 so I guess that's the last time it ever ran. As soon as I can get it to an engineer to sort a couple of small things out then it's ready to be started.
This is the total of my 'complete' bikes, I haven't posted a single photo of the other FZ because as soon as I can sort the bodywork out it will be for sale.
This one is my mates FZ which is at my house for repair (hence the bodywork missing), as it's an FZ I thought it worthwhile sticking on here. It is fitted with an Exup rear end and FJ 1200 front wheel (I think) and R1 calipers. I managed to have a wicked crash on this 15 years ago whilst testing it for my mate, I'm not sure if he'll let me have another go on it but I'd be up for it.
As I've never seen this many FZ's together anywhere else I thought it worthwhile sticking this photo in, hope you've enjoyed the tour!
