Hahahahahahaha good one tomster, sadly no jumps this time.
Some of the corners on the circuit (in case you didnt know Aintree held the first british car grand prix back in the day) have similar names...
Beechers Country Village Club
Erm still using Johns brakes so will take them off after the week end and send them back to where they belong with thanks.
John really turned up trumps with the discs, hand delivered to the MGP paddock, well done that man.

Well done for your support, John, you did a great job there. I think you all deserve a medal and I might even be there with you next year!

The more the merrier.
Already started MGP 2012 upgrades. Got hold of a set of 37mm carbs, a replacement cylinder block as the one on the bike is worn and will also be raising compression a tad. Then hopefully a better setup with better low down drive which was pants.
Also rear suspension (Hagon) overheated badly so a better shock will need to be fitted.
Wellyboots for Saturday methinks forecast looks poo

oh dear. what were the symptoms of the over heating shock? I ask as I have a new Hagon shock fitted to my best FZ. As a road shock it is excellent you will not have a problem but I think the mountain demands something better or more refined/adjustable. The Hagon shock received a full Hagon service before fitting (not cheap) however I feel the damping set up isnt good enough for what I was asking of it. From early on lap 3 the damping started to fade giving a very bouncy rear end (fnah fnah matron) a bike that refused to settle on change of direction and excessive squat on acceleration.

. Also rear suspension (Hagon) overheated badly so a better shock will need to be fitted. I've got a Technoflex on mine which I'm very happy with - remote reservoir, independant high and low speed compression damping and 15mm longer than stock - but I'm only doing 15 minute races so not sure about the overheating. Also not cheap - nearly £500 4 years ago and the company are chaotic - they may be in different ownership now.
