Hi Guys I am just starting a fz750 with a 88 fzr1000 motor and out of all my research i read ,,,that you have to change around some wires on the tci to get to work..(2 pick up FZ750 to 1 pick up FZR1000) Well i was wondering what wires to change around?? Thxs

I'd be very interested in this answer as well. You DEFINITELY need to swap wires though. I tried to start my bike with the 1000 engine and CDI and smoke started coming outta the CDI. Assuming I cooked mine lol. New plan is an FZ888 at some point down the road!

Anyone??? People talk about this but nobody knows??? How about all the people with a FZ750 with 1000 motor?

I think the 2MG FZ CDi's and the FZR CDi's are interchangable. but the earlier model 1FN's have the twin pickup and need to be rewired. I'll let you know when I find out the answer to this tho

i`m pretty sure you need the tci from the 1000 then you switch the wires.Thats what I did I`m in waterloo if you want to take a look.

I have both..a 1988 fzr1000 and 1985 fz750 tci...
