It would be great to meet one or two of you this year & this trip to Germany is the perfect oportunity to do just that. I went last year on my TRX850 & the year before in my old Ford Escort RS1600i. Both times were an absolute scream for me so I'm really looking forward to this years trip which I will be making on my 1993 Honda Fireblade. ;D There is a mixture of cars & bikes in our group which is normally around 6-8 strong.
We sail from Dover using Norfolk line, it's a 2 hour ferry crossing to Dunkerque then a 200 mile drive/ride to the guest house in Dollendorf. B&B is 32 euros per night & there is a garage where you can park up to 20 bikes. You can come & go as you please at the guest house all day long. We normally reserved 1 day (Sunday) for sight seeing but to be honest the whole weekend is full of interesting sights for me. I think a 5 lap ticket at the Nurburgring (Nordschleife or North loop) costs around 80 euros but there is normally someone with a spare ticket you can use if you only fancy doing 1 lap on your first visit.
I will post links to the ferry website & the guest house a bit later in order to make it easier for anyone thinking of booking up.

If you are thinking of coming I would advise spending a few hours looking around the guesthouse website. It is very, very useful.

If I've done that right then the Norfolkline link should pop up showing the correct outward & return dates for us. This year we will get the 8am ferry from Dover on Friday 13th & the 4pm return ferry on Tuesday the 17th. The prices tend to go up as it gets closer to the time so I will be booking early this year. At the time of typing this it is £27.00 from Dover & £22.00 return.
