i have taken off the henry abe wheels as they are worth a fortune, and put some seven spoke z mags on, the forks have been re built now, junked the pipe got a vance and hines that needs a bit of work, koni shocks , replacement loom and elcetrics, clocks and headlight ready (£50 baragin just powder coated as well) standard headlight brackets got standard mudgaurds, i need right hand switch gear and block connector for generator want to keep it standard. I have had the engine running and it sound fantastic, oh might need a seat, Now ... do i get the frame sprayed back to black ? then standard tank paint or just get it together as a running riding bike ?

Get it working/running right, use it for a bit, if you like it then strip it, frame blasted & coated (black), engine cleaned up/painted whatever, bodywork painted nice deep pearly green with standard Kwak decals. Noice.

yes you are probably right graham, i thought red standard colour though, think that is cos i did have a red z650 b1 years ago. The last set of henry abe wheels sold for 850 on flea bay ! with all the bits so far the bike stands me in £700 ( inc buying price £350) so if i sell the wheels for a good price it will pay for the complete bike !!!! bargain huh ;D

Not sure where I got green from, just thought it would suit the bike. Think my mate finished restoring a red/burgundy Z650 in the early 90s. It was probably fairly modern when he started! lol
