The CRMC in the uk are now allowing FZ 750's to race so a lot of 1fn's will disappear and be thrashed and spares will rocket in price. It happened when the FZ600 was raced and the second hand market went through the roof It will be good to see FZ 750 Gpz 750 GSXR 750 and VFR 750 battling it out Its happening at a circuit near you www.crmc.co.uk/

You old boys can suck as many eggs as you like.
I was letting you know a possible spares bike problem.
When the fz 600 class started racing spares and bike prices went up.
There is now a noticeable lack of FZ 750's on ebay.
Also I thought people on this forum would like to see the FZ's racing against other old 750's as in the 80's
I guess I was wrong welshbanjo

I was working on my XJ550/600 and got to noticing the FZ600 as it shared a lot of engine parts, thought it might be good to have one of those in the stable, then spotted that the 750 was a mite cheaper and gaining plaudits in the classic community. I also thought that FZ600 prices would get steep it may have happened to an extent but then I think that model was only around for a while so not in big supply anyway.

akirasan, what can i say ? we all know the FZ750 part's / bikes are short on the ground, let alone a well known auction site, which there are many not just one, they where not a lot sold in the UK at the time, leaving a shortage as we all know to well, i also think that is why we are members on this and other Yamaha forums. always in the search of information and spare parts, this is not only a UK problem it's a worldwide problem.
those who race the FZ750 i have the utmost praise and admiration for, also if i have parts spare then i know where to inform those who might need them,as you can see in some of my posts, links to FZ parts available if /when i come across them,
my gripe was the link to the CRMC. what you seem to forget the 750's will be against the bigger bikes as well,
have to keep the egg count down these days, the old cholesterol clogging the arteries you know lol. I am involved in racing and have been from the early 70's,
