Hi all, Thank you for taking the time to read our introduction. Our names are Niels (54) and Tim Schoon (21) living in The Netherlands and as of the 4th of January are we the proud owners of a FZ750 from '88. It's definitely a work in process, but luckily for us we found this forum with (hopefully) a lot of experts. Me and my dad do have a bit of experience around restoring bikes and cars, so we aren't completely new to the field. We are definitely looking forward to bringing the bike back in its original shape and then riding it! If you have any advice in advance of the project, we are happy to hear it. Kind Regards, Niels en Tim Schoon

Welcome and congratulations, looks like a really great starting point. Do all the basic's, like getting the fuel system and carbs in order, then look to the valve clearance's. If the clearance's are out (too small) it may not start or will be difficult to get started. Once those items are in order it ought to start right up. Good luck, keep up apprised of your progress.
