Good to see another forum on FZ. I am from New Zealand. I have owned mine since new - purchased in 1986 it is the original N model. Its in fairly decent nick having only done 20k kms. It recently completed a 2k km journey around the South Island to 'Brass Monkey' rally where we camped on the snow. Only problem was clutch master cylinder burst (original clutch fluid must have moisture creep in). I have range of other bikes (all yamaha's) including RZ350, RD400, RD350, WR450 and currently completing resto on R5. Also have 1965 Daimler V8 which completed resto on a few years ago (was grandfathers who bought new!) Attachments:

Hi nads, Good to hear from you , not far away from you, Australia, was married to a kiwi spent some time around Bay of Plenty. Have an Alpine Rally over here, similar to yours, had to break the ice on the edge of the river to get water for a coffee in the morning, cold!!!! first time I heard of a clutch master doing that, something to think about! trinity.

Hello nads, welcome to the forum. If you fancy posting pictures of some of your other bikes I would love a squint at them.
