so i have a problem starting up my bike
everyone says its my carbs but dont have any money to get new ones
cleaned em up really really really good and still nothing
just kills my battery after a few temps of starting and the generator gets pretty darn hot.
I replaced the starter clutch a couple months ago and was running strong for awhile
then my front sprocket falls off on me while riding on access road thank god
replaced it cleaned the chain torqued the nut down and had it started and ran her down the street for literally 10 minutes and then just shuts off and now im stuck-_____-,,,,
anyone have this problem cuz i have no clue what to do
thinking of buying new battery and rectifier..maybe solinoid cuz that also gets insanely hot when starting and always kills my battery everytime
dont know how many times ivve charged that stupid thing
please any help will try anything im dying here i gotta ride my brothers katana 750 for the time being and its just not the same haha

How old is the battery? Any more than three years and it's not unlikely that it isn't charging properly and/or holding charge.
