No but who cares? ;D If the 17" tyre is slightly lower profile Allison it should read about the same.

what about if i put an exup speedo drive with an fzr1000 17 front, i would have to put a sleeve in the exup drive as the exup has a larger spindle than fz1000 or fz750. will th espeedo read ok then ?. ia m trying to avoid putting the exup forks and wheel on the front as i would have to modify the fairing to allow bar clearance. But i am putting the four piston calipers on th estandard forks with brackets and the big exup discs. I have listened to people and put 15 weight oil in the legs with new springs. fees better. i have also put a thunderace shock on it with a spacer made up for the top . feels so much better now ;D

again I would expect your speedo to under read slightly unless the tyre profile is lower than the 16" but as the industry standard seems to be for them to over read slightly then you might just end up with a very accurate reading. ;D If you can place the original 16" wheel & tyre next to the 17" one you will be using you should be able to see the difference in size. If there is no difference then nothing will be effected. As long as you use a drive that fits then they should all be the same regards reading the wheel speed. If you can get your hands on the correct drive for the wheel spindle great but a sleeve sounds ok to me as long as it's a good fit. I tried drilling the centre of an FZ drive to accept my FZR600 wheel spindle but it looked a bit weak afterwards so I bought a TRX850 drive which uses the same diameter shaft, sorted.
