I have a Thundercat 17" rear wheel in my 2MJ FZ750, but there are issues with chain alignment to the front sprocket.
If anyone has a (later model swingarm) FZ still running original wheels could you please measure the distance from the outside of the sprocket, to the inside of the swingarm and post your results?
I think I need to machine the cush drive sprocket carrier to get the sprocket closer to the wheel centreline.
If all else fails, I'll resort to a stringline, but if someone can measure with stock wheels that would be great.
Thanks Chris

Hi Chris, my measurements. The picture looks like its not touching the sprocket but it is, I did check several times. Hope it helps.

I think the Thundercat wheel is the same size as the 5EB R6 one - I'm pretty sure I had a Thundercat wheel before I started using the R6 ones. If so, you do need to machine the sprocket carrier. From memory you need to lose the oil seal too if you're using the original swingarm - You can keep the oil seal if you use the FZR1000/750 swingarm but you still need to machine the carrier for chain alignment.
