I'd like to drop a 17" wheel into the back of my FZ, but really don't want to be changing the swingarm. Can anyone advise whether something like an FZR400/600 wheel would drop in and have the correct chain line.
I don't see the point in running a fatter tyre than standard so I'm guessing that a wheel from a later, smaller bike would do
Thx

There isn`t anything that will drop in you will need to do a bit of faffing about no matter what you use. I used a FZR600/Thundercat rear wheel but still needed to use a different swingarm. There are people that have used GSXR/RF rear wheels or CBR600 but you will still need to make something up to cater for the caliper.

Does anybody know whether the later 17" FZ750 front wheel will drop into the early forks without any changes?
Thanks for the comments on the rear wheel by the way. Gonna have a look at the GSXR option first

You will need to make up some brackets for your calipers unless you can find some later forks to bolt in. I have some 17" wheels for sale in the for sale section.
