Hello all on the Forum. can someone help please. I own aYamaha FZ 750 T (1987) 2MG I have the original Std exaust which I sand blasted and painted 2 years ago. The baffle is now rattling. I looked up the part number online 2MG-14711 comp exaust unavailable. I found a Standard silencer online and contacted the seller the picture shows clamps to attach to the collector/ downpipes I thought the exaust was 1 piece no slip joint. He quoted the part number as 2MG-14710. can someone explain this please. Has mine been welded ? Or are they all welded. Or do they all have a clamp to remove the silencer though its not shown as that on the microfieche. Also can anyone recomend an aftermarket 4 into 1 . I have seen a few specials online but find it hard finding the exausts used online. Thank to all in Advance

Hello chips. I can see a FZR 1000 exhaust system for sale on eBay which is one piece. Part number 2GH-14711. No joins. I have just bought a set of primaries for my 1000 engine that require a link pipe/clamp in order to connect a silencer. It may depend on the year your bike was made. Unfortunately decent replacement exhausts are getting hard to find now. Most after market systems will bugger up the power delivery at some point in the rev range.
