I have decided that my FZ will be of the 'survivor' class. This means I can maintain it and paint it without getting too precious just so long as it keeps it roadworthy and the rot at bay. One of my next jobs will be to touch up the cylinders (I have some Granville cylinder black) and the frame. For the frame I'm thinking Hammerite smooth silver, unless anyone has a better suggestion...?
Cheers.

Sounds a decent option Jamie - the cylinder block black should be easy to get to 'look right'.Would be good if someone has found a good likeness to the frame colours, there's several colours I think. I've read many posts on here looking for paint codes, but it seems you can only find out the name of the colour - would be useful for touch up paint etc.

Yep looking at it again last night I think the frame is darker than the Hammerite - more Anthracite-y. If someone knows a better match that would be helpful.
