Welcome back - so thats 145 BHP ? Stock engine with ???km on it but running pretty well in the same dyno 85hp at the wheel, this one pushed just under 126. I took a late model FZR 1000 with Wiseco 1040 kit there too and it was 130+ not by much. 132 I think, cant remember exactly.

Ah gotcha that a hell of an uplift %age wise.. I guess teh 'claimed' 750 spec was 'at the crank' although there seems to be various claims between 95 and 105 on these models from what I can gather.

To answer the original question about losing midrange... I have no idea of the midrange with FZ cams in a 911 but this particular engine is much stronger than stock FZ from idle to limiter. It really wakes up at around 5500-6000rpm but is fully rideable even at 3000rpm. Compression ratio is around 12,2:1 so this is still very much a streetable engine. No use raising the CR as we can't use a slipper clutch and with the current setup the rider is still comfortable with the increased engine braking. A good combo using nothing but stock parts.
Keep in mind we are using FCR39's and still the torque curve is very nice.

Nice to see you've joined us (again) Leino. I think I speak for everyone when I say we're all wondering why you felt the need/urge to delete all of your original posts in this thread?
