Greetings all from myself, Andy, and from Yorkshire near the Dales! Owned my FZ from new (more or less). Bought it from Padgetts in Batley in 1995 - they found four or five that were still in their crates that old man Padgett had stored in his warehouse since the late 80's!! Touch wood - in 26k miles has never let me down but nowadays I don't use her as much due to arthritic knees and thumb joint! Still enjoy going out for the occasional 50 - 100 mile trip though

Hi Andy thanks for joining us. My sister is in Tingley not far from you I believe. Does your FZ have a 95 registration number then?

Hi Graham - Tingley's just 30 mins away so not far as you say. Sorry, slight typo with the date, I actually got it brand new and first registered in 1997 so the reg. number is P744 ***. Don't know why I thought it was '95 - had either a Ducati or BMW then.

Blimey I had a P reg TRX 850 years ago. Bet that gets a few heads scratching when folks see your P reg FZ!

You can always tell a Yorkshireman..
..but you can't tell him much! Welcome. I spent my student years in Bradford, where developed a fondness for curry eating with chapatis only...
