Hello all,
New to the forum but not to FZ750's.
I moved to Portugal 12 years ago and had to leave my FZ750 2mg behind. It had an yzf750sp front end, exup1000 rear end and a 911 engine conversion with a TTS flowed cylinder head, exup carbs with KN's and a micron st3 carb kit & micron 4-1 exhaust , to say it roared was an understatement ! So fast forward to today and I've managed to find a FZ750 in Portugal minus the gearbox, it's been street fightered (not my choice) so I'm looking at getting it back to some what standard looking. I have plans to convert the engine to 961cc and either exup or yzf750 front end, At the moment I ride a Yamaha 1000 genesis, with exup front and rear end ( I don't do standard) so will look forward to seeing what everyone else Is doing to their FZ's

Hi Steve. Thanks for registering with us. Ten years ago I had an early Honda Fireblade (the one in my avater pic) that was tuned by TTS. It gave 135bhp at the rear wheel. Also owned a Genesis 1000 until two years ago. I kind of miss that bike. It was immaculate, got lots of attention and rode very well. I now own (amongst others) an FJ1200 that I have fitted exup usd forks, wheel etc and a Thundercat rear wheel to. My FZ has Genesis 1000 engine, swingarm, yokes, TRX850 clip-ons, rear seat unit & wheels, FZR600 forks, blue spot brakes etc. It's fairly quiet on here these days thanks to the facebook page but still a few diehard forum users who will appreciate seeing your progress. Good luck with your build.

Thanks Graham, been yearning for another fz750 for years, don't get me wrong, the 1000 genesis at 35 years old is still a great fun bike to ride, it's looking a bit shabby now, but after i finish the 750 I have plans to have it repainted in it's former glory. Not much info on the internet about the 961 conversion, I already have all the parts, they just need the modifications, my 911 was actually 923, because it hade a first oversize rebore, that bike was quick and surprised many of the pocket rockets of the 90's when i built it, funny thing was it had no stickers on it so a lot of people had no idea what it was, great bike, sadly missed.
