Not mentioned it before, basically because I'm not a very good salesman, but I'm an upholsterer and do a fair few bike seats inc my own obviously. Here's some I've done. Pretty soon I'll be doing my fz seat so will post some pics when done.

Mate we are all amateurs at some point and even at this late stage I'm still learning. Upholstery or trimming isn't a black art and the biggest problem with bike seats is finding the right material. Most seats have compound curves so your vinyl needs to stretch in both directions, most don't so you'll be up against it from the start.

To remove old and fit a seat cover I'd charge an hours labour, £27.50.

Well, I re-covered the seat myself and am very happy with the result.
