Hiya i wondered if any one would know if l re exup forks woudl go onto an 88 genesis. i have 1990 exup forks, yokes and calipers plus wheel, but the forks are shorter than FZ ones so make it difficult to put them on as i would have to chop the fairing. i have an Fzr1000 pre exup wheel and discs (bigger discs than FZ 750) thia has the same wheel spindle size as standard Fz wheel un like exup wheel. the exup calipers have different mounting points than std FZ750. due to bigger discs. would theses calipers fit FZr1000 pre exup forks ? so then i could use the big discs and the 17 inch wheel. without chopping the fairing and keeping std bars etc. also do very late 3 spoke fz front ends have mountings for the four pot calipers and are they the same as the 1000 pre exup. if any one has suitable forks for sale might be interested, have exup stuff for sale , forks wheel yokes. other wise i will have to make soem brackets to fit the calipers to std forks so that i can run the big wheel and discs, hope that makes sense. have a good new year xxxxx

exup calipers will fit genesis1000 forks. can't comment on late FZ forks but I'm guessing they are 41mm unless someone who actually has one can say otherwise? obviously you would need the yokes to accept the bigger forks. You have a 2MG FZ yes? They only have 39mm forks/yokes. 1000 Genesis yokes will bolt straight on to your FZ headstock but you will need clip ons to match the fatter forks. Ideally if you could get your hands on an entire front end from a 1000 genesis it will all bolt straight in.

exup forks are 43mm, FZR genesis are 41mm all FZ`s are 39mm. The later FZ`s are still 39mm & will bolt into your your standard forks & yokes. You can also use the four pot calipers. You will not be able to use the discs though as they are 320mm, you will need to use 296mm discs.

many thanks , one more question do the clipons on the 1000 genesis fit above or below the fork top yoke . if they fit below would they foul the fairing wnen turning the bars ?

They would fit below the yoke & would hit the fairing, you could fit some risers but would have to try different bars to fit. I can be done as one of my old FZ`s had FZR forks & risers. You could have the standard yokes & handlebars bored out then fit the FZR front end but as you say they are a little shorter.
