Hello All
I got a nice surprise when the Club paperwork fell onto the mat this morning. It seems that the club has a good vibrant support.
Congratulations and thanks to all involved in the setting up.
A bit about me and my bikes, I have two FZ750s, a TDM850, a SRX400 hardtailed chop which I built from scratch, a GS550, a Gilera Nordwest and a Pop Up Katana 750.
As you can see I like a bit of variety.
The Fzs will never be sold as I think the motors are perfect for everyday use and a good return on the MPG, but mostly because I think they are bloody nice looking engines!!
Unfortunately, I am a bit of a tinkerer as can be seen from my project bike.
EXUP front and rear ends complete, home made rear subframe ( which is being redone because I am not entirely happy with) and a Cagiva Mito 125 seat unit. The seat unit compliments the tank perfectly as it is the same width at its widest point.
The engine has been worked on by a previous owner and even after 77k miles it still felt crisp plus showed 158 on the clock not bad for a 25 year old bike.
I have plans for the engine as I recently bought the complete top end of a FZR1000 and I want to build a FZ911 engine just to be a bit different. I have found quite a few bits of information on whats needed so its a matter of starting. Would love to hear from anyone who has a FZ911 or has built one.
Sorry to go on for so long.
Thanks again for the club!!
