Great job crusty. You must be well pleased with that. Just been watching that Cafe racer program on Sky and it made me want to go out and have a fiddle with my bikes

I am well pleased.
I couldn't get any tourquoise paint or white pearlescent paint in halfords, but the green/primer are a good enough match on the top fairing.
I took the opportunity to fit some heated handgrips and have some quick-release fastners to fit to the fairing. They may be quick-release but their not quick-fit....
Total cost about £500 including the handgrips, and they are giving me £1040.

Hi Crusty, one of the membrs of the FZ 750 Owners club is a professional painter and he could match the paintwork exactly (he can mix the colours) I am sure he would do the job for a fair peice if you wanted the bike concours. His website is www.cambridgemetallics.co.uk and his name is Mike. Regards, John O'Hanlon

I'm not too concerned about getting it concourse standard, it's my normal transport so it's never going to look perfect, I think it's close enough for my needs. Bearing in mind I only paid £500 to get it back to this standard from this, I@m more than happy with the result.
