Can't be of much help but the wheels were made by Marvic and I heard the other day that because of the increased interest in classic racing they are now remanufacturing the design. As far as other parts go I'd guess they were mostly factory race kit parts and as such deserve the 'unobtainium' tag.

Don't be sad, I know of a board member that recently unearthed a kit pipe and rad so the bits are out there and you seem to be in quite a good position as I believe the fz enjoyed a strong following down your way. There was a chap in oz who was going to start producing the parts needed for the cable clutch conversion. I saw a dry clutch for sale on Yahoo Japan but you really don't want to know how much they wanted for it.

I have a race kit manual and comparing the parts in it with Mr Lawson's bike it looks like most are race kit parts but there appears to be some bits that are special to his works bike. If like me you do find some kit parts you may also like me, have to pay a small fortune to get them! Best of luck tho.

its all good thow ,picked bike last week .now all i have to do is build it to our race regs from various parts from era or visually correct
