hi all i need sum help with my fz750 1989 i have stripped the bike tank off and panels and wheels resprayed them all then when i put the bike back togeather i went to start her and the lights on the dash come on and then i hit the start button and nothing just the oil light flicks on but still nothing i havent messed with anything electric so im baffled any help in this matter would be gladly taken please the summer is here and she looks great and i need to get out on her again cheers graham

Hi, dont mean to sound patronising but have you checked the kill switch is set to run? I know when its set to off and you hit the button the oil light comes on. The reason i say this is coz i have been caught out with it before.
Also have you re- connected the fuel level sender unit, dont know if it affects the FZ but i had an R1 that did weird things if it was left unconnected.

cheers robbo yeah the kill switch is set to run buddy and the all the conectors are conected to but still nowt ive just put the battery on charge see if that helps but im not holding my breath tho lol

Make sure bike is in neutral or clutch pulled in or both & side stand is up. If it then turns over you have a prob in one or all of these areas. All switches are easy to bypass though.
