Hi, anybody know if the countershaft oil seal can be replaced with the engine in place?
It seems to be a normal thing on most bikes, but i've seen some comments in different places that say that the engine has to be split to do this...
Thanks, Kevin

The crankcases have to be split to get the BEARING out. I've never done it, but I'd imagine the seal could be butchered out and replaced with the engine in situ.

it can be done, also smear edge of seal with loctite, it helps the seal in and helps fix in place too ;D
