Anyone have experience with these callipers.
Have a set, stripped cleaned etc etc will not release...so got another pair.......didnt strip and clean just in case I messed the first pair up...they are just the same....I am using a YZF master cylinder that I took off my other bike (it worked fine I just got a full Blue spot setup with master cylinder so put the full hit on and that left the YZF master cylinder spare)
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Did you hook the seals out and clean behind them? I have no experience of these calipers but the FZ ones were notorious for gumming/corroding up behind the seals. This reduced the effective diameter of the groove and made the seals too tight on the piston. Once they were cleaned out and the seals replaced (with a smear of ACF50 in the groove to prevent it happening again) they worked a treat

Are we talking the 32mm Sumitomo twin pots? To get mine through its MOT, I'd stripped and rebuilt twice, but they were still not releasing evenly and binding a bit. When I loosened them there was no resistance so I shimmed between the fork an the caliper to find the sweet spot and they've been great ever since. We all know that they should retract evenly but sometimes life's just not like that!!
