Hi everybody. My FZ has a heat problem. When temperature is hot and the gauge reach the first sign engine lose rpm until it stops. I need to keep revs up with accelerator. I tried to solve the problem putting minimum revs to 1300 rpm, but I would like to solve this problem because is really annoying. Does anybody know why the bike do this and how to solve this problem? I thought it could be because the heat of the engine makes evaporate the fuel in the carbs, should be?

That wouldn't be my first theory. When it dies, what does it do? does it run lumpy first or does it just die? I'd suspect an electrical fault but without seeing it, it's difficult to make a judgement.

The bike doesn't stop suddently. First of all revs fall down more and more until the engine cannot keep running.

Just a theory, but does it do it when it's switched to reserve?

No. The problem isn't connected to the fuel level but only to the temperature!

It sounds suspiciously like it's overheating.....

It sounds suspiciously like it's overheating..... I am of the same advice, but I don't know why and how to solve it!
