Was sorry to see another upcoming star killed today, doing what he loved. I'm pretty sure that Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi will be pretty cut up about the way things happened too. I hope when I go, it's death by snoo snoo!

Agreed, but I'm hoping when I go that I hurtle backwards through the pearly gates on a flaming japanese superbike so that I can leap off and say "Right, I'm here. Where's the women and the booze?"....

Feel so sorry for the poor lad. For me, him and his riding style has been the only thing that made motgp worth watching lately. Thought the outcome would be bad when i saw his helmet come off. Very sad.

Very sad. Huge gravel traps etc. have meant we get used to people walking away after huge crashes. Watching on TV it's easy to forget how fast these guys are. The scariest thing was the closing speed between Simoncelli's sliding bike and Colin Edwards. RIP.
