Welcome aboard. It's been a bit quiet on here over Christmas but we'll probably wake up in the New Year ;D Kenny's Manx GP bike (see his thread) will probably be nearest to your class regs. There are also some photos of my Thunderbike FZ build here picasaweb.google.com/FZ750Horse/BuildingTheBeast#but most of my mods will probably be illegal in Early Stocks

the catch tank is proving a real problem as i don,t know what to start with,to make one from The oil containment is made from thin (0.6mm?) alloy sheet from my local scrapyard - cost a fiver. I made templates out of cardboard until I got the fit right and then cut it from the alloy. Basically, it's just a sheet wrapped from frame rail to frame rail with a small piece to close it off at either end. The first one was pop riveted and masticed, the second one has the end pieces welded in - I had to use heat sinks to avoid burning through it. You can have the first one for £20 + carriage if it's any good to you. This picasaweb.google.com/FZ750Horse/ThunderbikeUKBrandsGP15th16thMay2010#5480109306993586018shows why I replaced it though Also, it might need modifying to work with a different exhaust. It wore through on the offside but has been patched with epoxy.
