ow-doo... ;D they do seem to suit tail pieces off newer bikes, much better than something like a gpz of the same era..

Hi Jonny. The previous owner has done a bit of a hack job on the frame to make it fit but i'm going to re-do it.I'm not looking to spend much money on it so what i have is going to be what goes back on it.

I think a bit of 20mm square section bracing following the line of the bottom of the R6 seat unit would look ok and give more than adequate support

As above, triangulation is the key. I think this is a classic case of function over form though. You need to know it's all strong enough when you're blasting around, hanging off it etc not worrying about it bending under your weight for the sake of aesthetics. I over-engineered mine for the same reason.. . I hope?

Certain features within it look grreat but , isn't it like sitting on a tall bar stool ? At least the seat angle is spot on though I'd grab a MIG and totally re-engineer the proportion of seat height in relation to the tank ? And that can is as over small as my FZ can is tooo big so some changes there would make it prettier. I think it can work and look good. May even try a bit of a copy on my streetfighter project yet. But the price.. was that christmas or what? You sure can feel good about that? I recently paid just over a grand ($1K) for a bit less complete example, in cosmetically pure state though.
