Hi guys As seen in my intro thread i have an 87 FZ750.I've just got hold of a Clymers manual but it doesn't include the schematic for the 87.The books title says 85-87 but the schematic drawings in the back include FZ 750-85-86 but not 87(Damn!) Doesn't appear to be a book for the FZ 750 post 86.Is the wiring loom for the 87 the same as another Yamaha that i can find in print or online? Cheers TC

One of the ones in the Clymer manual is applicable. I can't 100% remember which one but it's probably the 1987 FZ700 one. Check a few wire colours and it'll soon be obvious

None of the others match up either i'm afraid. The ones it has in it are for the following - 1-1985 FZ750N and 1986 FZ750S/FZ750SC
- 2-1986 FZX700S/FZX700SC and FZX700T/FZX700TC
- 3-1987 FZ700T/FZ700TC
On my compliance plate it has only 12/87 FZ 750 with no other prefixes (like N ,S,T etc.) I managed to find this online which does match my harness www.cmelectronica.com.ar/wiring-diagram/imagenes/yamaha-fz750.jpg All its missing is what 1-52 are :oIts a great start. Some are obvious, fan, battery etc others less so for a simpleton like myself. The site looks like its based in Buenos Aires - Argentina All in Spanish.(Qué?)I've trawled through the site best i could to see if the other part of the drawing is available but with no luck. If anyone can help with the parts listings of the drawing it would be much appreciated. Cheers

Amazing what a few lazy hours can do.Managed to sort it out.Still baffled why the book didn't have the right one though.
