It works very well but there's quite a lot of engineering/fabrication involved - it won't just bolt together. Front - FZ stem is slightly (about 0.006") smaller diameter than the R6 one. For safety, I was advised to hard chrome it (I had it metal sprayed in the end) and machine it to R6 size before fitting to the R6 lower yoke. There's a fair bit of faffing with top hat spacers, lock stops etc. If you use clip-ons between the yokes as I did, you need to cut away a lot of fairing and the lock is very restricted. You'll lose the steering lock. Rear - there's very little clearance between the Chain and a 180 tyre. The front sprocket needs to be flipped or shimmed out to get the chain run right and you need to grind the dust seal housing off the sprocket carrier and find a different way of attaching the sprocket because the standard nuts won't clear the swingarm. You'll need to sleeve the axle and machine new spacers to suit. It would be easier with an FZR1000 arm (wider) but still need to be sleeved unless you weld in R6 type adjusters. Cheers mate front end mods not a worry going to see about using the standard R6 bars above the top yoke for a start and take it from there, but might chage the swing arm to a fzr1000 sounds a bit better.

Cheers mate front end mods not a worry going to see about using the standard R6 bars above the top yoke... That could well result in a bad experience ;D The R6 fork is shorter and I've found about 10mm of fork leg through the top yoke is optimal for track use - it shakes it's head a bit at that but not enough to be really scary. The amount you would need to fit the R6 clip-ons above the yoke (30mm?)would make it seriously unstable and the mudguard would probably hit the lower yoke. You might be able to make a custom top yoke, stepped to allow you to fit the R6 clip-ons?
