Go on fit the 150bhp motor, it would be such a laugh! ;D There will be others along with much more experience on the subject than me but general opinion is 1000 Genesis barrels, straight fit to later 2MG bottom end. Small exhaust ports ie, FZ750 ones compared with 1000 head give good low down torque but limit gas flow at high revs. If you're using the 1000 down pipes then I would want the 1000 head also. I don't think you "have" to open up the 750 exhaust ports but I would want them to match whichever exhaust system I was using. Unless you are an expert at gas flowing cylinder heads I would leave it alone & go with the 1000 head. Welcome to the forum. I look forward to hearing of your bikes progress.
