If you're really bored you could try doing me another drawing like the last one but of an FZ stud? ;D

I tried the nuts on both ends of the studs and they were both the same thread. Defiately not as a big difference as M8/M6. Although a M7/M6 could be possible. M8/M6? never...

Good point Crusty. I was wondering why I have been able to use the standard exhaust nuts on my all thread???

Hi Graham Not sure if Kayla does them but try Projection Components. She loves her Yams and offers cracking service. Tell her Fatbloke recommended her, Ta

I just went and reconfirmed it with my tap and die set, the one end is M6 with a 1.00 thread pitch and the other is an M8 with a 1.00 thread pitch. Thats on a 88' California FZR1000 though. So if the FZ isn't that way then that rules out the FZR Genesis as a suitable replacement.

Okay thanks all for replies.
Fatbloke I think I know who Kayla is from my days on the TRX850 forum. She had just started doing bits & bobs for TRX's going back probably 3 years ago maybe more. I nearly bought a YZF750 front end off her but it didn't happen for some reason. Cheers for that. ;D

Found an FZ stud today in my mate's garage where the FZ used to live. It is indeed M6x1.00mm on both ends.
