Hi,
I recently bartered me a 1985 fz750 in white/blue/yellow color code.
My plan is first to make it a good runner and after that I wany to restore it to original shape.
This bike is probably gonna take me to Isle of man next year but it has been standing in a garage for 8 years.
I would love to get hold of pics showing a completely standard original 1985 fz750 in blue/white/yellow, preferably from a catalogue.
Any catalogues or manuals in english or swedish in pdf-format is appreciated.
Regards
Filip(sweden)

I'm sure there'll be a few pictures available, have you tried Google images too?

Well, I have been searching quite a lot. I have found a few pics on a swedish website and all of those have som kind of modification. That's why I would like to get pics from a catalogue.
It is not difficult to find pics of a FZ 750 -85, but it is when it comes to my color combination: white, blue and yellow.
I have also been trying to find decals/graphics, because the tank is repainted in blue(the correct blue though) with wrong decals on. Is the white lower area painted och vinyl?
I am also looking for the lower fairing on each side for my bike, they are missing.
Regards

I'm sure someone on here will tell you for certain but I thought that colour scheme was 86 on.

Hi,
That explains it. I looked in the papers and it is registrered as a 86 but the previous owner told me it was a 85. Probably an early 86 perhaps?
Thanks for the info, good to know!

Filip
