Hello all. Purchased a 87 fz750 for $800.00. It was running but it seems to be having a problem now. Will be tearing it down over the winter. I should have a lot of time as the farmers almanac says we will have lots of snow and cold weather here in Canada this year. I've been riding for over 30 years now and have had a lot of different bikes. The FZ is one that I remember from my youth as the one that I wanted but could never afford. Looking forward to bringing it back to as close to stock as I can. If any of the more experienced FZ owners have any tips/pitfalls for restoration it would be greatly appreciated. Attachments:

Welcome! It looks like you've got a better "jumping off point" to start with than my FZ700. From that picture, it looks very nice. I look forward to reading about your progress this winter.
