The way the story 'heats' up will 'grip' the reader...............
Its a story that must be shared by the person most affected by its restriction of movement.

Okay, okay....
After my tribulations with the throttle cable and my appallingly heath robinson solution, the throttle was perfect except, after a while, it began to stick.
I'd worked out that something was getting warm and expanding but I couldn't understand what I'd done or how I'd positioned the cable to cause such a drastic response.
This went on for a few days, journeys starting off fine but getting progressively worse, until Monday. It was, if you remember, a bit milder on Monday and my hands started to get hot, so I turned off the heated hand grips. 5 minutes later, the throttle freed up...
It turns out that I'd positioned the throttle grip too near to the handle bar end weight and as the plastic sleeve inside the grip heated up it was expanding enough to rub against it.
For all those who wish to call me a twat, please form an orderly queue....
