Yeah baby! I've got the same pipe salvaged off one of my donors. The bike looks great; somewhere out west? Nice job...

Looks good. My V&H cleared customs and should be here next week. Interested to know how the jet kit has improved performance once you've dialled it in. At least you've got the climate to enjoy all year round (cold n wet here at moment).

Terrence, Is any of the plastic aftermarket (Airtech?)or just the original parts sanded ect for paint? Thanks, Kevin Plastic is all stock and was painted with the Yamaha Pearl Sparkle paint. I was able to find a matching NOS Yamaha Pearl Sparkle upper fairing! So my bike will be all white soon. - more photos to follow

Looks good. My V&H cleared customs and should be here next week. Interested to know how the jet kit has improved performance once you've dialled it in. At least you've got the climate to enjoy all year round (cold n wet here at moment). The Kit worked magic! But keep in mind I'm going to the K&N Pod air-filters because the kit does require much more air to work right. Even with the stock air box it was like Holy $hit! But after getting use to the new feel, as the bike heated up you can see how it's running rich on the upper end. Just to test, did a ride with no air box and other than having to get the rev's up a bit more to pull out of first, less back pressure due to the V&N exhaust and the lack of an airbox, across the board the bike is a race monster! So that said, if it rains a ton by you, go with the 1.0 kit and you'll still be able to get a ton of new power but with the added benefit of having an all weather bike. I just don't want to go into my carb again if I can put pods on, much easer and I live in the desert so water is non-factor. Main reason ?? ->, 1.0 can be tuned up for after market exhausts with the air box but the 3.0 really like and needs to breath more than the stock airbox will allow. Hope that helps!
