Hi all! Just bought my neighbor's FZ750 Genesis 1988. Running, and sounded fine to my untrained ear. Carb No 3 overflowing. Opened up the float bowl, but new to wrenching and couldn't really tell whether anything was out of place. Opened Carb No 2 for reference and found the tiny bracket holding the float needle to be bent back. Bent it to match float needle bracket from carb No 2 and buttoned everything back up. Starts. No leaks. Had it idling just a bit below 1000 and in my infinite wisdom decided to correct the issue by fiddling with the idler screw. I did not fix the issue. Panicked. Twisted it this way and that and completely lost my bearings. Any input on how to get it back to "factory" setting would be greatly appreciated ...also when turning the idler screw it was sort of hard to notice any change in the rpms and sound from the engine. Seemed almost insensitive, but when I blipped the throttle changes became noticable. Rpm not coming down, settling at 2500-3000. kept fiddling until it got so bad that the Rpms at "idle" were at about 5000. Turned the engine off and decided to call it a night and seek help Help! ...please Oh, ..and I live in Norway. It is so cold.
